Cookies on this website
This site sets one cookie. It is called lang and it holds a two letter
language code (tr, en, ru, fr or de). It carries no identifier, no visitor
id and nothing else.
It is written only when you use the language switcher at the top of the page. Its single purpose is to greet you in the language you chose the next time you come. If you arrive at an article directly from a search result, it is never written at all.
The cookie cannot be read by JavaScript, is sent only to this domain, is shared with nobody, and expires by itself after a year. You can delete it in your browser settings; the site works completely without it.
This is a functional cookie storing a choice you made yourself. It does not track you, which is why you are not asked to accept anything.
Separately, the first time you land on the home page (/) we read your
browser’s language preference and forward you to the page in your language.
That reading is not stored anywhere, and a choice made with the language
switcher always takes precedence.
Beyond this, there is no visitor tracking, no advertising pixel, no analytics tool and no third party embedded content.
The site is made of static pages and uses no JavaScript to work. While you read it, your browser requests files from this domain only. No data reaches any other server.
There are no forms on this site. Information you share when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email is processed under the notice described below.
Server logs kept by the hosting provider are retained for the operation and security of the service.
Data protection
The clinic processes personal data under Turkish Law 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). The binding version of that notice is published in Turkish, which is the language in which it has legal effect:
Çerez Politikası ve KVKK Aydınlatma Metni
In summary, the clinic collects the contact details of animal owners and the medical records of the animals treated, uses them to provide and follow up veterinary care and to meet its legal record keeping obligations, and does not share them for marketing. You may ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where the law allows, by writing to info@karanfilvet.com.
