This site sets one cookie for your chosen language, and runs Google Analytics only if you allow it. No advertising. The clinic’s binding notice is published in Turkish.

Cookies on this website
This site can set two kinds of cookie: lang, which remembers the language
you chose, and Google Analytics cookies, which are written only if you allow
them.
The language cookie
The lang cookie holds a two letter language code and nothing else (tr,
en, ru, fr or de). It carries no identifier and no visitor id.
It is written only when you use the language switcher at the top of the page. Its single purpose is to greet you in the language you chose the next time you come. If you arrive at an article directly from a search result, it is never written at all.
The cookie cannot be read by JavaScript, is sent only to this domain, is shared with nobody, and expires by itself after a year. You can delete it in your browser settings; the site works completely without it.
This is a functional cookie storing a choice you made yourself. It does not track you, which is why you are not asked to accept it.
Separately, the first time you land on the home page (/) we read your
browser’s language preference and forward you to the page in your language.
That reading is not stored anywhere, and a choice made with the language
switcher always takes precedence.
Google Analytics, only with your permission
On your first visit, a bar at the bottom of the page asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Until you accept, no request goes to Google and no Google cookie is written. Declining is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.
If you accept, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are loaded. They store
cookies whose names begin with _ga and _ga_ (for up to two years) and send
Google the pages you open, how long you stay, where you came from, the type of
device and browser you use, and an approximate location derived from your IP
address. Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address itself.
The only purpose is to see which articles are read and how the site is used. This data is not used for advertising or remarketing; every advertising-related permission is always sent as denied. The processing is based on your explicit consent.
The data is processed on Google’s servers outside Turkey (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC).
Your choice is stored only in your own browser (localStorage, under the name
consent); it is not a cookie and is never sent to us. You can change your
mind at any time: the Cookie settings button at the very bottom of the page
opens the bar again. When you decline, the Google cookies are removed from your
browser.
If JavaScript is turned off, the bar does not appear and Google is never loaded.
Otherwise
There is no advertising pixel and no third party embedded content (maps, videos, social media buttons) on this site.
The site is made of static pages and works completely without JavaScript. Unless you allow Google Analytics, your browser requests files from this domain only, and no data reaches any other server.
There are no forms on this site. Information you share when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email is processed under the notice described below.
Server logs kept by the hosting provider are retained for the operation and security of the service.
Data protection
The clinic processes personal data under Turkish Law 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). The binding version of that notice is published in Turkish, which is the language in which it has legal effect:

In summary, the clinic collects the contact details of animal owners and the medical records of the animals treated, uses them to provide and follow up veterinary care and to meet its legal record keeping obligations, and does not share them for marketing. You may ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where the law allows, by writing to info@karanfilvet.com.
