The clinic stocks the everyday items the animals we see need regularly. The purpose is not to run a shop, but to let you leave with the food or care product that was recommended, on the same visit.
What we keep
Wet and dry food, prescription diets, cat litter and trays, brushes and combs, food and water bowls, carriers, toys, and beds for cats and dogs.
On choosing food
When choosing food, read the ingredient list on the back rather than the marketing text on the front. The first items listed are the ones the food contains most of by weight.
Your animal’s age, weight, whether it has been neutered and any condition it has determine the choice directly. A neutered cat’s energy requirement drops markedly, and staying on the same food should be expected to lead to weight gain.
You do not need to have come in for a consultation to ask which product is suitable.

Can I buy a prescription diet directly?
Prescription diets are formulated for a specific condition and are recommended after an examination. If your animal has been on one before, you can come in to restock; if it is being started for the first time, an assessment comes first.
Do I have to buy food from you?
No. Telling you which food is suitable is our job; where you buy it is your choice. Bring us the label of something bought elsewhere and we will tell you whether it fits.
